I decided to expand Real Horse Rescues into a Podcast to reach a wider audience to share the true worth of Horses.
Podcast listenership is skyrocketing, and our horses need our voices now more than ever. The Rescue Community is filled with amazing, compassionate, articulate advocates who are rarely heard. For those with non-profits, the Podcast is great means to raise awareness of their mission and to connect with prospective donors.
It is my goal to rekindle listeners affinity for horses, and to evoke reflection on our moral commitment to protect and care for these magnificent beings. Despite the evolution of our relationship with horses, most horses, no matter their age or accolades, are only one sale away from slaughter; a little-known fact outside of the industry.
It is my hope that through open and honest discussions, that new paths will unfold to truly make this world a gentler home for our beloved equine friends. ~ Susan Kayne

The Podcast is an extension of the groundbreaking equine advocacy TV series of the same name which broadcast on ABC-WTEN. In the Podcast Series, host Susan Kayne will examine developments within the Equine Rescue Community, and explore the big questions at the center of Equine Welfare: Who are horses really, and how do we want to live with them?
Listeners will hear from Rescuers who are on the front lines of saving horses from slaughter, to Representatives and Advocates who are raising the bar in Washington D.C., to grant makers, to active stable owners, to community changemakers.
